I’ve added a Disqus thing to the stream - for those who follow through Tumblr, you should be able to respond without the need to reblog if you wish; just click on the actual post and respond there.

As to the content of images here:

Images posted on this stream are a mix of internal and reader submitted content.

In case it wasn’t obvious from the submission criteria though (and folks are always welcome to submit their own), we’re looking for submissions that are based around content creation and by some extension, the demands that come with that from the wide and varied client-base. 

I have never claimed the images here are meant for everyone. Clearly, given the submission criteria, they are rather narrow when compared to the rest of the world. But we’re talking Second Life here, and a rather narrow subset at that. 

Are there going to be some posts everyone gets? Sure. Are there going to be some that are open to various interpretations? Of course.

I did take the liberty of removing some posts in the past because they did end up seeming more vaguebookish than jokey and there are a couple in the queue that don’t really make sense, so it’s not like things are getting published willy nilly.

In any case, if you find yourself wishing you’d see something you can relate to, get cracking! You are very welcome to share a submission!

(let’s just ignore the fact that the platform is almost 10 years old, eats video cards like candy, lacks a materials system and has been essentially deluged by a shit ton of inefficient mesh hacks (sculpties) for five years…)

It comes to mind some of you may or may not wish to have a linkback in your post. I’ve amended the submission terms - if you’d like a linkback to your tumblr (and ONLY your tumblr - i will verify at time of approval) please include a (via (yourtumblrlinkhere)) with your submission.
